The Security page defines the security settings for the notification group.

The following permissions apply to notification groups:

Permission to perform all actions on the group. |

Permission to view the properties of the group. |

Permission to modify the properties of the group. |

Permission to delete the group. |

Permission to change the security settings for the group. |

Change owner |
Permission to take ownership of the group. |
Permission to create new groups is controlled through the Default Notification Recipient Security options.

Members of the computer's Administrators group always have View and Change Owner permission, even if those permissions are not listed, or are specifically denied. An Administrator can always take ownership of a notification group. The group's Owner always has Full Control permission for the notification recipient, even if that permission is not listed, or is specifically denied |
