The Security page defines the security settings for the notification recipient.

The following permissions apply to notification recipients:

Permission to perform all actions on the recipient. |

Permission to use the recipient. |

Permission to view the properties of the recipient. |

Permission to modify the properties of the recipient. |

Permission to delete the recipient. |

Administer security |
Permission to change the security settings for the recipient. |

Change owner |
Permission to take ownership of the recipient. |
Permission to create new recipients is controlled through the Default Notification Recipient Security options.

Members of the computer's Administrators group always have View and Change Owner permission, even if those permissions are not listed, or are specifically denied. An Administrator can always take ownership of a notification recipient. The recipient's Owner always has Full Control permission for the notification recipient, even if that permission is not listed, or is specifically denied |
