Version Compatibility: Server version 5.1 or later Console version 5.1 or later.

Use Completed with Errors status when a step fails but execution continues

This option determines what final status is used for a job that is configured with the Execute steps in sequence; job continues even if a step fails setting. See the Steps Page of the Job Properties topic for more information.

Use Completed with Errors status if error messages are logged for a job

When this option is checked, a job is given Completed with Errors status if it was successful but messages were logged to the Job Log with Error severity.

Use Completed with Warnings status if warning or error messages are logged for a job

When this option is checked, a job is given Completed with Warnings status if it was successful but messages were logged to the Job Log with Warning severity or higher. If the Use Completed with Errors status if error messages are logged for a job option is also checked, messages with Error severity result in a status of Completed with Errors; otherwise they result in a status of Completed with Warnings.
