E-Mail Servers allow you to provide the settings that Report Commander needs in order to connect to an SMTP server to send e-mail messages. To send e-mail messages, you must have at least one mail server configured.
If have more than one server configured, Report Commander will use the first one that it is able to connect to successfully.
This window is reached from the Project Properties panel of the Project Editor, or the E-Mail page of the Command Line Builder.
Enter the e-mail address to be used as the return address for messages sent through this server. Enter only the address, not the name. For example, [email protected].
This value is used by default if you do not specify a return address for a particular e-mail task.
This field can contain variables and functions that are replaced at runtime. More... Click the {} button
to display the text editor, which helps you insert variables and functions into the text. When you hover your mouse pointer over the field for a second, a preview of the "expanded" text will be displayed so you can confirm your variables and functions are working correctly.

If your mail server requires authentication for sending mail, enter your user ID and password here. For example, to send through Gmail you would enter your full Gmail address (e.g., [email protected]) and password.
